This is our Story

Born and bred in Denmark, Karl met his Kiwi wife Julie In Australia over 25 years ago and came to settle in New Zealand in 2001.  Always ambitious, it wasn't long before Karl started his own Business as an Electrician in 2003 before becoming an Electrical Inspector and establishing a very successful Metering and Inspection Company in Marlborough.

Accustomed to using quality products in  Denmark, Karl felt there was a market for a range of quality hard wearing workwear here in New Zealand that better catered to the hard working kiwis tough working environment.  Daneunder was essentially born out of the  ambitions of a "Dane living Down Under" who wanted to build a strong brand on a foundation of blended Kiwi and Danish Values - Resilience, Dependability Comfort and Quality.

Daneunder Workwear enjoyed 6 very good years in Business as we evolved to be a general workwear Company in Marlborough.    Post Covid the cost and lead time to produce our own product sky rocketed so we made the decision not to import any more of our Branded workwear.  2025 has been a huge year for us personally and we further made the decision to sell the trading Name and Business to Jo and Steve Hill of Renwick in June.     Now, all that is left to do is clear the remaining stock holding we have in both Hi Vis Clothing and Flame Resistant ARC rated clothing.
